What we collect
When you place an order, checkout is handled entirely by Shopify, which collects your name, email address, shipping address, and payment details to process and fulfill your order. We access your order details through Shopify only to pack and ship your game. Payment card numbers are handled by Shopify and never touch our servers. If you join our newsletter, your email address is collected by MailerLite.
How we use it
Order information (held in Shopify) is used to process payment, ship your game, and send you order confirmations and shipping updates. Newsletter emails are used only to send you updates about our games and promotions — you can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email.
Who we share it with
We share data only with the services that run our store: Shopify (checkout, payment processing, order records, and order/shipping email) and MailerLite (newsletter). We never sell your personal information.
Cookies & tracking
We don't run advertising trackers or analytics cookies. Our store features (the Shopify Buy Button and MailerLite newsletter forms) may set functional cookies needed to operate, and embedded videos are served via YouTube's privacy-enhanced (no-cookie) player.
Data retention & your rights
We keep order records for as long as needed for accounting and warranty purposes. You can request a copy of your data or ask us to delete it by emailing contact@betagames.net. If you're in the EU/UK or California, you have additional rights under GDPR/CCPA, and we'll honor those requests.
